What Is Included?
Home Inspection is a snap shot of the condition of the systems and components that make up a home AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION. Without becoming technically exhaustive, a home inspection report will include:
- Those systems and components, which in the professional opinion of the inspector, are significantly deficient or are near the end of their service life.
- Deficient components may have accompanying photos.
- An explanation of why the system or component is significantly deficient or near the end of its service life may be included.
- Recommendations to correct the reported deficiency and when.
- A summary of details on the systems and components inspected.

In this photo the cast iron soil has developed a crack and is leaking in the basement |

In this photo, the vent for the hot water heater is touching the wood (this could be a fire hazard) a space between the vent and the wood is required. In addition, the vent hole was cut in the sill plate. The recommendation was to have the heating contractor come back and correct the installation |

In this case settlement has caused major cracks in the building walls. The cracks are so extensive through out the building it is beyond repair. |

Here the electric meter cover is missing. Exposed live wires could be dangerous to anyone. Recommendation was to have the cover replaced immediacy by the electric company. |

Here water has damaged the door jamb where it meets the concrete. Some evidence of termites were found. Recommendation have an exterminator in for an evaluation and treatment and make repairs to the damaged wood. |
